Er zijn veel media-ontwerpers die ik bewonder en weet te waarderen, maar als het gaat om het gebruik van geluid binnen hun ontwerp komt het vaak neer op bekend materiaal van het internet. Ik zou graag willen pleiten voor creatiever en innovatiever gebruik van geluid of muziek binnen de grafische toepassingen binnen media-ontwerp. Ik ben begonnen om een bibliotheek samen te stellen waarin ik eigentijdse klassieke muziek of noise in combinatie met media-applicaties verzamel.
Opdracht
Mijn vraag aan jullie is: wil je innovatief ontwerp gecombineerd met eigentijdse klassieke muziek of noise willen inbrengen voor de ‘Bibliotheek van Geluid en Ontwerp’? Je zou kunnen denken aan grafisch ontwerp (analoog of digitaal) ontwerp, een film in combinatie met muziek uit het veld van eigentijdse klassieke muziek of noise, een partituur op basis van een muziekstuk, of een combinatie van de hierboven genoemde opties.
Je bent vrij om gebruik te maken van de playlist hieronder, maar je kunt ook zelf een stuk gebruiken uit het hier beschreven veld.

Radioprogramma
Als je een partituur wil maken is het een aanrader om naar het volgende radioprogramma voor de VPRO te kijken en luisteren. In ‘Weeshuis van de Nederlandse muziek/Orphanage of the Dutch music’ werkte Dramm met drie musici. Introduction
There are a lot of media designers I highly admire and appreciate, but when it comes in their work to the use of sound in their applications it is very often well-known material form the internet. I stand for a more creative and innovative use of sound and music in media applications. I started a ‘library of sound and design’ in which I collect sound, music and noise combined with media applications.
Assignment
My question from me to you is: do you want to bring in some innovative design combined with modern classical or contemporary music, or noise for this ‘Library of Sound and Design’? You can think about graphical (analogue or digital) design, a film combined with music or sound in the field of contemporary classical music or noise, or a score based on the playlist. A combination of the media mentioned is also a possibility.
